Who: Over 360 elementary scientists, 60 volunteer judges, teachers, and staff
What: Pasco County Schools – Elementary District STEM Fair
When: 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18
Where: T.E. Weightman Middle School, 30649 Wells Rd., in Wesley Chapel
Why: This year’s STEM fair showcases elementary student research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
How: These young, elementary scientists are becoming college, career, and life ready as they utilize 21st Century Skills to explore our world. Over 60 volunteer judges with iPads will interview our students. Judging will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and public viewing of all projects will be from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. The day will commence with an awards ceremony at Wesley Chapel Performing Arts Center at 3:00 p.m. For more information, contact Susan McKenna, Elementary STEM Fair Coordinator at smckenna@pasco.k12.fl.us.
