Why: Pasco County Schools is seeking guest teachers and professional guest teachers to substitute teach.
How: Interested applicants may pre-register at https://hirepasco.eventbrite.com. Qualified applicants can interview on-the-spot. There are two levels of guest teacher: professional guest teacher and guest teacher. A high school diploma or GED is required to qualify for guest teacher, and pay ranges from $65 per day to $95 per day, depending on the level of education and length of the substitute teaching assignment. Professional guest teachers must have a minimum bachelor’s degree in a “certified” subject and possess a current teaching certificate. Professional guest teachers fill in for teachers on leave for 30 days or more and are compensated $160 per day.
