Wesley Chapel, FL – (September 16, 2016) – The High School GGG Boundary Committee met for the first time today to review maps and demographics of the affected schools, work on potential boundary options, and set future meeting dates.
Two additional committee meetings and the parent information night were scheduled, all at Wesley Chapel High School. Following are the dates and times:
2nd committee meeting – 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, September 29
3rd committee meeting – 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 20 (previously scheduled as 2nd meeting)
Parent meeting – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 29
4th committee meeting – 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2
High School “GGG” is under construction on Old Pasco Road in Wesley Chapel, and will open as a 6th through 12th grade school next August, but will only have students in 6th through 11th grade the first year. The school will relieve crowding at Wiregrass Ranch High School and John Long Middle School.
Boundary Committee meetings are public meetings. Members of the public may attend as observers only, and will not have input into the meeting process or be able to participate in committee discussions.
