What: Smile Care A Van Visit

Where: Chasco Elementary School, 7906 Ridge Road, in Port Richey
Why: Pasco County Schools and the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) in Pasco have partnered to support the dental health of students across the district.
How: The FDOH in Pasco secured a mobile dental unit, Smile Care A Van, through a federal grant that will visit Title I schools to provide students with free dental services. For the second year, with parent permission, students may elect to receive the following free dental services: assessments, cleanings, fluoride treatment, sealants, brushing and flossing instructions, and general oral care education.
