Dade City, FL – (April 7, 2016) – R.B. Cox Elementary School is preparing for their 90th Year Celebration for alumni, current students, current and former staff, families, and the Dade City community, and has requested photos, and memories. They also are creating a montage video, and are seeking alumni interested in being interviewed.
Founded in 1926 as Dade City Grammar School, the school was renamed after Superintendent and former Principal Rodney B. Cox after he lost his battle with cancer in 1973. The school will have several celebrations throughout the year. Their first event will be the 90th Year Celebration Kickoff on Friday, September 30, at R.B. Cox Elementary School.
