What: 27th Annual Turnaround Awards Ceremony
When: 10:45 a.m. Thursday, May 7
Where: Spartan Manor, 6121 Massachusetts Ave., in New Port Richey
Why: This well-deserved recognition serves as a celebration of the success as well as an inspiration to other struggling students. It is a great step towards reducing student dropout rates in Pasco County.
How: The Turnaround Awards Ceremony is part of the District’s comprehensive graduation enhancement program. Students are recognized for their hard work to positively transform their academic achievement and/or behavior. The ceremony also serves to recognize the teachers and staff who have inspired and supported these students through their personal growth.
