Pasco Students Earn Record Number of Recognitions at State Science and Engineering Fair

Land O’ Lakes, FL – (April 7, 2015) – Out of the 25 Pasco County students who earned the chance to compete in the state science and engineering fair, 16 received a total of 19 awards, the most in the county’s history.  Below is a list of winners: SSEF Place Awards 1st Place Pranov Warmen – Mathematics - Academy at the Lakes (AATL) 2nd Place Roshan Warmen – Physics – AATL Samantha Williams – Microbiology – Anclote High 3rd Place Jessica Boudreau – Environmental – Dayspring Academy 4th Place Samantha Renfroe – Environmental – J W Mitchell High Nalin Mehra – Environmental – Dr. John Long Middle Honorable Mention Anmol Warmen – Chemistry – AATL Regan McCormick – Medicine – AATL Recognition Madeline Murch- Engineering – Bishop Larkin Reigh Gemza Puentes – Biology – Dayspring Academy Kyla Huelle – Zoology – Rushe Middle Scholarships and Special Awards Regan McCormick – Florida Institute of Technology - $84,000 scholarship – AATL Pranov Warmen – New College of Florida - $8000 scholarship - AATL Nura Abujbara – Florida Museum of Natural History - $100 cash award – Wiregrass Ranch High Jessica Boudreau – Florida Association for Water Quality Control – cash award - Dayspring Academy Kevin Cheng – Palm Beach Regional Science & Engineering Fair - $50 cash award –  Wiregrass Ranch High Neto Coulibaly – Florida Association of Science Supervisors - $50 cash award – Wiregrass Ranch High Lindsey Matheus – Florida Association of Science Supervisors - $50 cash award – Dayspring Academy Sarah Menard – Palm Beach Regional Science & Engineering Fair - $50 cash award – Rushe Middle
