Land O’ Lakes, FL – (April 1, 2015) – Superintendent Kurt Browning today announced a new S.T.E.A.M.-focused course that will be offered to all students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
“This course involves science, technology, engineering, arts, and math like no other class ever offered in Pasco County Schools,” Browning said.
The new course was the brainchild of Lauren Burdick, S.T.E.A.M. program coordinator for the district. The course was piloted by Pasco Teacher of the Year Beth Hess, an English language arts instructional coach and English honors teacher at Hudson High School.
