Land O’ Lakes, FL – (November 6, 2014) – Although there is an increased law enforcement presence on campus at Land O’ Lakes High School today, after the social media threat discovered yesterday, the school has resumed normal operations.
Yesterday’s plan to control access to the school and suspend outdoor activities was canceled after the Pasco Sheriff’s Office identified the subject in the photo and determined that he does not pose a threat to the school. The law enforcement investigation continues, but LOLHS is operating under their normal schedule, with teachers teaching and students learning.
If there are any updates related to school activities, I will notify media. The Sheriff’s Office PIOs will provide any updates they have about the investigation.
